Measuring at over 16 feet wide, these wings are made of deceptively light craft foam with an inner support core of paper maché enforced cardboard. A custom steel frame was constructed to facilitate the display of the wings behind the large gong using it’s existing frame. Transportation of the wings was a large design challenge and creating a easily deconstructed and solo transport design was critical.
